Job Title:        Rental/Wash Bay Technician


Location:        Midland/Odessa, TX


Department:  Sales Department


Reports To:   Store Manager

 

Job Essential Duties:


  • Assists the Store Manager in the efficient operation of the Sales Department.
  • Responsible for set-up and assembly of all types of equipment offered for sale or rent by the dealership.
  • Cleans, organizes and maintains the condition of shop, yard and equipment inventory.
  • Promotes and exhibits company policy at all times with emphasis on a team mentality.
  • Responsible for complete and thorough documentation of repairs needed on returned equipment and on time submittal of information.
  • Operates and maintains vehicles, tools and equipment required to perform job responsibilities.
  • Maintains a clean work area and performs work in a neat and orderly fashion.
  • Performs incoming and outgoing inspections on equipment. Prepares equipment for delivery to the customer.
  • Assist customers with loading, unloading and operating equipment.
  • Promote customer service at all times throughout the department.
  • Follows all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments.
  • Execute other duties as assigned by management.
  • May require some direction or guidance from the Store Manager, Service Manager, Shop Foreman or Senior Technicians.


Skills & Qualifications:


  • Experience operating vehicles, tools, and equipment used in machinery pre-delivery and set-up processes.
  • Experience with basic computer functions.
  • Pass a background check, drug test and physical.
  • Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
  • Must have an adequate toolset to perform job responsibilities.
  • Must have valid driver’s license with a clear driver’s record.
  • Ability to lift 75 pounds without issue.
